Presenter: Tony Forgetta

Q&A: Questions Raised during the June 13th session.
(I will populate as the answers are discovered.)Q: Teaming: Currently no delete. Will Novell be adding a delete or purge option?
A: In the Teaming service, when you share web files there are several functions available: Add, Delete, Move/Copy, and Share.
Q: Will SLE10SP1 feature performance enhancements to the iSCSI modules?
A: With the release of SLE10 SP1 there were enhancements to the iSCSI modules. A common issue with iSCSI targets is whether DNS is used to resolve the initial connection. We have seen instances where this appears to make iSCSI look real slow. Test with IP address directly to eliminate this possibility.

Q: a. Will ZENworks ever manage Mac’s ie OS X desktops?
b. ZENworks Imaging for Mac?
c. GW Notify on Mac? Linux?

A: a. Currently ZENworks features asset inventory and patch management abilities for Mac desktops and laptops
b. We currently do not support imaging for Mac’s
c. Yes. In the GW Bonsai release coming Q1’08 there will be a notify client for Linux, Mac, AND Webaccess clients!
